Default Engine Block Heater

The plug on my 6.4 L engine block heater just about melted last week when it was in the 20's and one of the prongs is loose. Now its going to be in the -teens ( yes that is negative teens ) and I dont think I can use the block heater... should I risk it or just not use my truck till I can get it fixed... ( do have some anti-gell in the tank )

I think wouldn't risk it, I would get to Ford and get a new on and install it right away. It doesn't look that hard to put in.

The only time I plug mine in is when its single digits or below and I dont even have a fuel heater anymore But yes we have two diff trucks but dont use it and the truck will be fine without it to use until you can fix it.
