Default New member with an issue. HELP!!!

Hey guys and gals. Just joined up and love the site already. I have a 08 F250 6.4, 47,000 miles and all stock aside from lift kit and wheels and tires. Truck has been flawless and I love it. Yesterday it started acting weird in that the RPM's wouldn't go over 2,500 and it would only build about 15-18lbs of boost. I pulled over, turned the truck off for a few seconds restarted it and all was well. This morning I hop in it and I pull out onto the main street and its doing the same thing again. I stop and pop the hood, look everything over, only thing I do is hit the reset button on the air filter. Restart truck and its all good again. Truck sits for about 8 hours, go to leave and its doing it again. I stop truck, turn it off, restart but this time a check engine light is on and its still acting up. Stop off at the local parts house and grab a code reader. I don't remember the code, but it said fuel flow control something, I was too pissed off to think about writing it down.

Takes forever to get up to speed and you can not give it over 1/4 throttle or it just bogs down, and if you try to keep your foot it in, it bucks fairly hard. I can get it up to hwy speeds and maintain 65-70 so long as there isn't a grade, and when trying to give it some throttle to pass a slower car, its like you let compleletly off the gas.

HELP!! I'm taking it into the dealer tomm am and see if they can get it fixed.

Just got the call from the dealer.

High pressure fuel pump and the cab's gotta come off. Is this a common thing with 6.4's?

i was gonna say a pump or lift pump issue.. no its not as common as the 6.0's hpop failures were but everything does have a tendancy to fail.. they get you rollin yet

My buddy had the same thing happen. Took 5 days and no squeaks or issues with cab R & R since. All covered under warranty.
