well Ford hasnt said anything about it being an outside source that caused it. As for anything else its been posted on spartan's site also and nothing from the spartan guys has been mentioned nobody has really heard anything like this before.

The spartan guys live up the road a few miles from me, And I have a friend that works out there. If you want I will ask them?

no problem, i hope it all works out. There are 2 of spartans test trucks riding around rown here and they are WICKED! unbelievably fast!

yea I will give the 6.4 credit it is one fast truck just don't want to deal with the not running part nor the computer stuff.

Or the dealers, who will not warranty a damn thing on a new truck. That is the only reason I will not buy a new truck!

well so far they are warrantying my problem but I thought I would like the warranty stuff but its more of a headache than fixing it yourself so 12v here I come

I don't mean to turn this into a ford bashing thread cuz by no way am I bashing anything or telling others to avoid it this is just my personal opinion and problems. they make an awesome truck to quote a friend about his F550 he has never owned a truck that he loved more but doesn't care much for the motor and electronics.

still no word yet gonna call them again this afternoon and see what is going on

so I just talked with ford they managed to reprogram it but now its having communication problems between the computers waiting to hear back he went to talk to the tech about what they are doing next
