I know I am digging up an old thread here but dang, my Ford dealer gave me my first oil change on my new 2010 F-250 diesel for free.

Also, I read where they want to charge you 180.00, it only costs 105.00 here. I would look mighty hard at another dealer IMO.

haha because of a dealer trying to scam on oil changes? ok. When you do your own work it never sees there shop. just like mine an mine will always be. my last truck had a recall and i fixed that myself. If you'd like to discuss chevy or dodge problems i'll be happy to discuss them with you in private until you realize that ANYTHING mechanical will at some point fail and with the stress these trucks are under it dont take long

There's a shop out here that does a $49.95 15 quart oil change. Yea **** that ****, costs me $60 to do it myself so obviously they aren't charging labor and using shitty oil, OR they are charging labor and using REALLY shitty oil and rinsing out the old filter with a hose
