Just got the paperwork from the judge - he says Ford has to buy it back. The whole deal is figured with some kind of equation - purchase price x miles driven and a lot of stuff. What it comes down to is even though I have been making a $967/month payment since Nov 2007, they want me to pay for mileage that I put on it - BS!! Anyhow, I guess the Judge didn't think that was right so he refigured the numbers and is making Ford pay me the FULL purchase price for the truck, after financing and everything - $54,XXX! The day I got the paperwork in the mail Ford called and left a message while I was at work that said they want to get our "refund" to us as soon as possible. We called them that night, after business hours, and left a message. No response. We have called them everyday for the last 3 business days and haven't heard a word. Been a huge runaround with Ford since the day I started having troubles. Tired of it, just want it all over with!

That's brutal. I'm glad the judge ordered you a sweet deal. Hopefully those will follow through now with what they owe you. Once you get that refund you'll be home free. It's amazing that of the big three, Ford has somehow had the least financial problems despite this, and the $200 million lawsuit against Navistar for the 6.0. Funny how that works.

Glad to hear the judge ruled in your favor. Now, to collect. Hope they keep their work and get it done asap!

Deal is done!! I delivered the truck to the Ford House wednesday and picked up my check - Ford paid the financing company off and wrote me a check for $7063.12 - sounds good but it sucks that I've been paying $967 a month since Nov 07 ($20406 counting my $3000 down payment) better than having to pay them anything. They charged me $50 for a rock chip in the windshield they wanted to charge me for the wear on the tires - I told them they were crazy - guess they were going to try to see if they could squeeze any more $ out of me before it was over.

They got all kinds of BS they go thru - got a circle the size of a quarter they use - if it fits in the circle, it costs $50 - they look at EVERYTHING - inside, outside, tires and under the truck - I had to shampoo the carpet because of a couple little spots or they would have charged me $350 for a complete interior detail - it was all BS like that but now it's done and all I have to do now is try to get a refund of the balance on my extended warranty from the finance company (should be around $1500) plus the difference of what was owed and what Ford paid them (around $300)
