I have a 2008 Powerstroke. I had a Spartan tuner installed a little over a year ago. I deleted the DPF and straight piped it from the turbo back. I also had the EGR valve removed and a blocker plate put in it's place. About a month ago the check engine light came on and it started billowing black smoke like a B*STARD. I took it to a shop and they cleaned the turbo and replaced a couple sensors. (cost $650) It ran great, then a week later the light came back on. The turbo is lagging considerably on the low end and again, blowing black smoke like no other. Any idea??
