New to Diesel Bombers....hi everyone!
First off, hello everyone!
ok, new to diesels, and to fords, i am normally a chevy guy then a dodge, i came to the darkside as a buddy has said to me, but to tell ya the truth, she is a beauty and runs awesome. Oh and never been in a forum before, but told to join one to help get answers and tips.
That on another note, i have a few problems, hopefully someone can help out.
1) I have upgraded my stock crappy mirrors to the towing power telescopic, heated, power folding and the mirror switch too, but it seems i am missing 2 plugs to plug into the drivers mirror switch panel....so I ask you, am i missing part of my wiring? only the mirror moves, nothing else, i want to fix this soon!
2) My airbag light is on, could this have something to do with my clock spring? Nothing comes up on my code reader or my mini max chip.
3) My cruise control doesnt work, and when i am driving at night, i can see it flicker like crazy, I am guessing wires loose or has something to do with clock spring? Sorry new to this computerized crap,

4) Guy told me when i bought the truck, if you turn the steering wheel all the way to the left or the right, the brake pedal lowers, he said his mechanic said it was some spring, but then when i told my mechanic, he said it might be my hydro booster, and i need to replace it, so i am taking what my mechanic said as a 50/50 chance it might be that, dont really want to throw out $800 to find out that wasnt the problem.
5)I am looking for some parts, if you are selling or know anyone selling, I need leather interior with heated and power seats, front and back for my 08 f250 superduty, 6 seats, also looking for the overhead console cover, tan in color for that, leather seats prefer black, but will go tan. Maybe a power rear window setup, the storage bin for underneath the back passengers. a canopy, 6'8" box. cold air intake. 3" intake pipe.
Anything would help to as advice, just bought the truck alomst 2 months ago, father of 3. dont have much time on my hands to browse, otherwise I would. Thanks for reading!

Hi Savage, Im also new here but im gonna try to help you out.First is it a XLT, LARIAT or what ? Ford didnt supply all the electrical wiring for there base model trucks but if you have the lariat it should be there which im guessing its not or it would have came with them mirrors and leather seats. As far as the air bag sound like it was in a accident and/or someone disconnected it. you will have to track down the whole wiring harness. Then after reading your post again i would assume something is disconnect cause your cruise dont work either.Does any controls work on your steering wheel? if not i would start there. i hope this might be a little help

There's been some people leaving the site recently from what I've seen, but I'm new and don't come here often... I'm not an expert but it sounds to me like you could have a wiring issue in your steering column. Cruise control indication light flickering, airbag light on, things moving when you turn the wheel- I think wires are shorting. As real deal said, maybe the airbag went off in an accident, and the wiring got damaged.
