I'm not worried about labor I do all my own work... I can't see paying someone to do it for me...

Now is fords injectors reman? Or new? Bc I didn't thing you could replace the spool valves...

I'm trying I decide wether to stick the money in mine or if my buddy get me a $ amount what he owes on his "06" that just had gaskets and arp's done...

There is no such thing as a "new" 6.0 injector anymore. Even Ford's are remans, but they are one of the only places that I've seen that actually DO replace the spool valves. To my knowledge, NO ONE else does this.

Who did your buddies gaskets/arp's? That could be the nail in the coffin right there... For me, I'd just be keeping my own to do my own headgasket job, just to ensure it was done right.

Well it was a friend of a friend of a friend that used to work for ups as a diesel tech... And everybody says he does a good job so....

The more I think about it I'm just going to keep mine and throw the money at it... Injectors, turbo, hg and studs when needed...

Found a bed for it today for $500 no rust just a nice dent...

you got it, make sure you get them for all 8, locktite all the nuts after removal of them, don't trust that they are going to stay tight if they are when they come off the truck.
