No start after HG's Oil cooler etc..

you had the heads resurfaced. How much did the machine shop say they took off the heads?

Not much, he wasn't going to even do the job, because he said Fords recommendation was to not machine those heads, but when he looked at them, he saw they hadn't failed and were not in bad shape, he said he could "smooth it out a bit"

Anytime the heads are machined for flatness the valves must be recessed the same amount to avoid contact with the pistons, that is why it cost around $500 to have these heads machined properly, the milling is cheap, but to get a valve job on a 32 valve costs $$$$$$$
