Default Is my turbo shot?

04 6.0 6 speed manual. Realized that when taking off in first gear I was losing power. Realized today if I continued to increase speed when it started to bog down that I would lay down a friggin smoke screen. It happens at 2100 rpm and until I shift or let off the throttle it will continue to smoke. It concerned me cause it wasn't black smoke but more like a bluish white smoke(that's what it appears from my mirror). Only happens in first and I have gotten into it in all gears(besides low and reverse). Checked coolant level and it is still at the same level it has been for months. I have deleted egr, butterfly valve, and have done banjo bolt mod and blue spring mod as well have deleted the cat and it has 4 inch pipe all the way. And the turbo seems to be acting properly in every gear besides 1st. Do I have a turbo that is goin out?

Did you check for a boost leak?

Mine used to pour blueish/white smoke when one of my injectors was basically toast and would stick so bad I'd have to let the truck warm up for 15 minutes before moving it. If your turbo is working in other gears, it's not the turbo. It either works or it doesn't.

Does this happen all the time, or does it disappear once it's fully warmed up?

The oil could be from the ccv leaking, that's what mine is just haven't had time to reroute it yet.

Is there supposed to be any shaft play at all in the turbo? I can grab it by the center bolt and it will move side to side and kind of click against the sides. Tried to take a video of it but you can't really see it very well in the video.
Also the smoke only happens if the truck is warm and when it gets to 2100 rpm and in first gear. After I eperimented with it for a day the next day when I started it up it acted really pissed and puffed out some huge puffs of smoke at first start then was fine. There is oil all over the boots and I remember when I deleted the butterfly valve there was quite a bit of oil in the intake.
One other thing while I'm rambling on is I popped the top on my coolant and the inside of it above the coolant line it had a dark slippery stuff that looked like oil on it. Could I be getting oil in my coolant too?
Oil level is fine(I think? I hate that dip stick!). Coolant level is fine but the oily crap is disturbing. I'm not throwing a check engine light.

The side to side play isn't crazy bad like some of the videos you see on YouTube but it definitely has some play.

The side to side play is normal, as the truck fires the oil spins on the bearings and takes that slop up. In and out motion would be bad, but a little side to side is ok.

Sounds like it might need an oil cooler.

The oil on your boots is from the CCV and it's normal.

oil in coolant means you probably blew the oil cooler, it will only get worse, you are burning your oil up if it is that clogged that it ruptured.

Ok, might have jumped the gun on the blown oil cooler. Took a sample out and it looks like ford gold. I think the black film in the resevoir is actually sediment. Is the sandy stuff in our motors have a black look to it? I can post a pic of the sample and my scientific finger swipe picture. I am parking the truck for now tho.
My Dad mentioned it could just be bad fuel. I have been putting a different fuel in it then i usually do. Ive been getting it at Turkey Hill (Krogers gas station). I usually get it at speedway. Could there be water getting by the filters and not throwin the water in fuel indicator? Or could they be adding an additive to it that my truck dosent like?
Im still not thinking injectors tho cause Ive got plenty of power all the way up to 2100 in first and until I let off the skinny pedal in all other gears. And it only does it after the truck is totally warmed up. No smoke or hesitation at all until warm. Plus when my ficm was ficm'd up It was causin two injectors to go stupid and I felt like I was trying to drive a rock.
All this **** happening tells me I gotta get some $@+#!$* gauges. Can I just get an sct livewire with the pre loaded tunes and run that? The pre loaded tunes from sct arent gonna hurt my truck are they? Im not worried about the tranny cause if it gets messed up its me cause i select when it shifts. Mainly want the gauge display, a little added power is a bonus.

My stance hasn't changed, you've probably blown an oil cooler. Sand isn't going to make a black residue on the cap, it's oil. Post the picture up though.

If you had a bad batch of fuel, the water separator would fix it as long as you're using the right fuel filters. The water in fuel light isn't going to NOT come on for no reason... and if you actually had water in your fuel, you'd be having more problems than your'e saying.

So you're saying your issues only pop up AFTER it's warmed up? This info would have helped a while ago... you may have a small high pressure oil leak. You would need to put it on a scanner to verify this.
