Do you think I would be ok to drive it a few miles to get it scanned? There is a guy that has a scan tool that lives like 5 miles from me.

Looks like oil to me... And by the pic it looks like your pushing coolant... My guess would be oil cooler bc of the oil in your degas bottle and if I'm not wrong blown oil cooler over pressurized the degas bottle which is making it push coolant... I wouldnt go off my diagnosis yet I'd wait for someone else to chim in on the pics...

Are you filling your coolant to the minimum line? Have you been loosing coolant?

And also with the sample of coolant, oil will not mix with coolant, it will separate... So it will lay on top of the coolant...

At this point I would buy him a couple of beers and have him come see you.

I'm pretty sure that if it's something that goes wrong with the 6.0 I've had it or it's just a matter of time. I'm lucky that I can do all the work myself (except repair my ficm although I did just get solder certified through work now) but I freakin hate workin on my daily driver!
Will the guy be able to know if it's oil cooler by hookin the scan tool up to it? He works on 6.0s all the time but that doesn't mean he knows what he's doin. And would oil cooler cause the smokin and power loss or is that hpop related or something else?

Is that your coolant in those bottles? It looks fine. That tiny bit of residue in the cap hardly looks like a blown oil cooler to me. I'd say you're safe to drive to your buddies to get that thing scanned.

U0306 (this is the one that puzzled him)
P0341(cam code, not worried replaced that once already for no reason)
P0528
and some egr codes. I have no egr.
ect while idle was 178
eot while idle was 180
He romped the crap outta it trying to get it to pick up anything and the ect went up to 187 and eot was 195. That much of a difference coulda been delay in the scanner tho.
He seems to think it is probably related to the ficm again or the ficm harness. He gave me a print off of how to check the harness. Its friggin crazy. Lots of pins to check and what to dos if they register bad.
What really made it sound like computer related is that wouldnt allow us to run a self test on it. You could hear a "ruff" in the exhaust noise like it was starting then it would abort. What sucks even more is his truck is 2 months newer then mine(mines 11/03 and his is 01/04 build) and its doin the exact same thing. His aborts the self test mode and has the smoke at certain rpms.
Oh and oil pressure was in the 500's at idle and 900's at 2000 rpm.
And one more thing, both his truck and mine dont register any voltage to the throttle when pressing it down. It reads really low with key on but when you push it down it dosent change.
