what tune you planning on running?

 

Not sure at all... I asked Bill in his other thread what he thought I should run, but I think he missed it...

At this point I could care less about mileage. What's important to me is a seat of the pants feel, and not having issues towing my camper in the summer. Though I think a water/meth setup is in my very near future, so that will help eliminate EGT issues. Cold starting is another big issue for me.

I may send this FICM now for tuning, then once I have this back, build up a 58V unit and send it in for tuning as well...

 

12? Happy!?! Holy crap! I've seen mid 12 here at 4000ft and I'm on 35s. When I go to Phx, or Vegas, I can get 14~15 in town. Granted my SCT helps, I've been experimenting with additives. @ stroke oil at about 200:1 worked really nice. I just put in a cetane booster on this tank (over did it so the results may have to be scrubbed). Point is, I haven't seen low 12s since I put that I LIKE TURLTES Edge on the shelf.

BTW, I really like Bill's tuning approach, even though it makes all the money that I have spent on mine look like money down a flaming hole. Keep up the good work.

btw, i just drove for 2 hours on the highway at 65mph and my lie-o-meter said 24.1 when i got home

Yeah I've been down into the 13's a few times. Scared to even check it on winter fuel.... Really really really need to get my vegistroke going again...
