I have an 06 powerstroke and I replace my turbo w/ the infamous whistling Powermax that doesn't hardly whistle at all. Truck still sounds like a jet which I love but doesn't hardly whistle at all! I do have egr deleted and custom tunes from Innovative Diesel. Also have straight pipe exhaust. Any ideas?

 

the stock air filters in these trucks are some of the best flowing options as far intakes go but if you realy want to hear her sing you are going to need a aftermarket intake, JMO

 

What's the best kind of intake to run?

 

NOT K&N

 

k&n's are no good? is thatwhy mine says check airfilter even after a good cleaning?

 

they can break apart and be sucked into your Turbo

im not sure what is best, because im runnin K&N unfortunitly... im trying to wait on a Zombie Intake

 

Ive done some research on this as I am looking for an intake as well...and ive heard the air raid is one of the top ones for the 6.0's

 

I've heard that K & N let to much dirt & dust get sucked in
