It's not like the Edge is actually doing any trans learning, it's just telling you to do it. The trans is learning on it's own separate from whatever the Edge is doing... like I said before, the Edge literally doesn't do squat for the trans, other than maybe raise line pressure, but if it's on stock settings it wont do anything. Just leave it on "0" setting and load a tune with an SCT up. The Edge shouldn't do a thing for the trans. When it says to go through those steps, you can do those same steps without the Edge on there, it's still the same trans learn process that Ford probably uses too.

Do you guys think this is a good deal? It says it comes with custom tunes by your choice, and innovative is one of them? SCT X3 w/ 6.0 Custom tunes.
I'm going to call them later to find out more info on it bc the unit itself is $500

Honestly any 4 of the tuners they have listed are all GREAT. Those would be my top 4. I've tried from Innovative and GoGo, Gearhead will be the next I try. I've heard nothing but good from Mike @ KEM too. KEM also does good FICM tuning as well.

I know Innovative used to upcharge $80 extra when you got extreme tunes, so maybe they're accounting for that... Don't forget, if you want a pyro reading you need to order the pyro probe for it too, it's an add-on.

As for the FICM... I doubt it's bad man, it's such a rare thing for it to read good and not perform well.
