ARP's and OEM Ford gaskets seem to be working on 1000+ rwhp trucks... that's what I plan on using. I've heard of issues using fire-ring setups on these motors, but nothing about the hypermax stuff specifically. If you were to put these gaskets in, you'd need new OEM bolts anyways, since they are one time use, so if you were in that far removing them, why not just put studs in right? The no head-machining is a joke, there is no way I'd pull them apart and skip that step, no matter what I was using.

Ahhh, good call Bob, you're probably right. That's sort of misleading.

I just happened across them the other day and had to ask the question. There is no way i would use or reuse stock bolts...ARP all the way. I just want to do this job once...well twice if I retorque. And as for machining the head. Yeah im just not going to go that far and skip that step either. Bob what you said sounds like what they meant as far as not having to machine anything out

ARP says no re-torque is necessary. I don't plan on doing it on mine.
