well not exactly as you are saying here. It will be easy to prove,
if the injectors went bad multiple times then a K&N intake will have nothing to do with that,
if he has had EGR failures, the K&N filter had nothing to do with that,
if he had an oil leak the K&N intake had nothing to do with that.
BUT if he had a turbo failure, they would have to prove that the K&N intake WAS responsible for the failure BUT most of the time it is cause by sticking vanes in the exhaust housing that will cause the turbo failure that the K&N intake has nothing to do with.....
so that being said, it is worth looking into for those who have had the above problems.

Your Ford owners manual clearly states they can void your warranty if you run ANY non Ford parts. Your typical magnusson moss warranty jargon doesn't apply to these trucks. If you think you have the time/money to fight Ford on it, go for it, or buy another truck. At this point I doubt anyone in this thread has a foot to stand on regarding that lawsuit. I knew what I was buying when I got it, I certainly don't blame Ford for that.
There is a guy who does the billet fender/door badges. Ford got a cease and desist order preventing him from making the badges. He used the Ford font and was creating several different variations. In the end he is limited to what he can make for badges with regard to the wording and such. Ford even tried to make one of his customers take off the badges at a truck show. Needless to say the truck show guy told them to pack sand since Ford has no rights after the product has been sold.
In the end you got to have big stones to go against those guys. They will settle out of court LONG before a class-action suit hits the courts.

I personally wasn't pursuing it but just threw it out there for general info. I was a Ford guy before I bought my PSD. Had a 96 with a 460 that had 298,000 miles on it when I sold it and it never had a problem. I wasn't aware of the PSD problems but the truck has treated me decent. It's got some problems but so far besides tires and LOF I haven't had to spend more then 3 grand on it and some of that was stuff that I could had done myself but either didn't have the time or the space to do.
