If anything it will help out alot, it will help keep EGTs down and that is a good thing

I've heard the EGT's will lower, bit have heard it will decrease backpressure and cause less boost and power.

BTW it is stock, no engine mods, and will be bolting up a S&B intake in the next few weeks.

the turbo makes enough backpressure on its own, and it'll give you more power if anything taking the cat and stock muffler off

i had a 7.3 and had the straight exhaust on it and it did boost power a little and actually helped out fuel mileage a hair. this 6.0 was bought in january by my father and since then he has put two new heads on it along with a new turbo. now im driving it and im just leary as to what will happen,if anything, to it. plus the sound is amazing from a straight 6.0.

There's still a chance for the EGR cooler to go again, but removing the cat or muffler won't effect anything other than noise factor. Do it!

I sure hope studs were used instead of bolts...I've run straight pipes on everything I've owned and never had any problems, other than neighbor complaints

I wanted him to use ARP studs, but everything that was used was OEM parts

Im assuming it was just, "no were using factory parts". Idk for sure though...

Studs would have been much better.
