Default please help! electrical problem!

ok this is my first diesel and i could really use some help! I have a 2005 f350 with a 6.0 in it. bought it in august of this year and just had the starter rebuilt last friday because it was dropping out. when i picked the truck up after having the starter put back in the mechanic told me the driver side battery tested bad. i drove the truck last weekend and everything was fine until i went to leave work wed and the dome light was flashing and dim and it just clicked when tried to start. had the truck jumped and drove a mile to my house and it kept missing and it died when i stopped. went and bought 2 new interstate batteries yesterday and it started up fine but the battery light was on. had it plugged in at o'reilly and didnt have any codes this a.m. replaced a brake light and had new tires put on it and on my way home the wrench light came on and it started missing and then the ABS light came on. the radio shut off also. made it to advance auto and shut it off and it just clicked when tried to start. had it plugged in there and again the dome light was flashing. got codes C1446 brake switch circuit malfunction, b1318 battery volt low, u1900 controller area network communication bus malfunction, and b2900 vehicle identification mismatch. a guy in advance said it could be the FICM and another guy said the body control computer or something. got a ride home but my truck still sits in the parking lot. any help is greatly appreciated!! thanks!

To me it sounds like the altinator took a dump, have you checked your fuses? also check the main wire harness under the master cylinder to make sure it is snapped in place, I've heard of that happenining before. Low or dead batteries can hurt the FICM but the symptoms you are describing leads to a charging issue.

x2 on the altinator. I've had 5 fail on me in 4 different vehicles. Its always the same, lights dim, radio goes, lights on the dash come on, all electrical gauges then fail, blahblah blah and lastly the vehicle dies. havent had one go out in the powerstroke yet though.

I can't believe they didn't offer to test it, they do that right there don't they? Definitely get the alternator load tested, sounds like the issue to me. When these trucks die and they are cranked trying to re-start, they always seem to throw the most random codes.
