Default Gauges

Anyone have any experience with the glow shift gauges? I want to add the pillar gauges before installing the fuel reg kit and banjo bolts, the sct tuner from mkm or innovative havent decided on that yet also could take some input on that if theres any differences but mostly want to know about these glow shift gauge kits, I want a nice set but no reason to spend more money if they will work fine.

They're complete crap IMO.

They don't dim with the factory gauges, like you can do with pretty much any other gauge on the market. I know there is some mod you can do so that when you dim your lights they dim to 1/2 brightness, but it's not an adjustable dim like the others have.

They don't call them glowshit for no reason.

I know guys have used them and they work fine, but gauges are one of those things you get what you pay for

JMO!!!

Be REAL careful installing the sending unit for the fuel psi, it doesn't take much to crack that housing. Then you'll find out what it takes to change said housing. It SUCKED!!!

I have transmission temp, boost, and EGT... my EGT gauge was pinned to 1600 only about 2 months of installation... sent it in, they replaced it and sent one back. Now as for accuracy wise i herd there not the best. Another thing, I go to school in oklahoma but bought them back home in montana. I specifically asked them to call me when they got my gauge that I sent back to them. The lovely tech "specialist" said no problem. I called about a week after sending it in...and well they sent it to montana. No memo was found. In 3 weeks im heading back home with a load and no EGT gauge thanks to them...FML. I bought them to save some money but other than pretty colors they can change into im not really impressed. When im getting my new motor im definitely getting autometer or isspro

I run ISSPRO EV2's now, like them a LOT. Wish I could still get Dipricol Optix, but they've been discontinued...
