I can for 100% sure tell you the bounce in the front end is not from your rough country 6" radius arm drop lift kit. (drop lift kit ). I run the exact same lift with 35x13.50 Micky Thompson MTZ's. I just pulled last month at the truck pull and had zero problem at all with bounce. Did 2 pulls and launched in 4low 2nd gear (auto) with no traction problems at all. If i was you i would check ball joints and tie rod ends. Ill bet you that the new lift will have the same problem since you said that this was happening even before the lift. You probably need ball joints.

I've seen new trucks with lifts bounce though, this is a very common problem in the coil sprung front ends up through 2010 bud. Tall lifts with lots of flex and grippy tires is going to bounce, unless you link it up. I've seen stockers bounce like crazy. Just the nature of the beast.

I'd agree with taking the lift off..

In my mind, there are two styles of lifts..

The cheap "It's Lifted" style lifts which are literally only built to make the truck higher to fit bigger tires and look more... "cooler"..

And the "Ride like a Cadillac" lifts which range from $8,000 to $20,000 which lift your truck and make everything work like its stock and feel like its stock when it is actually lifted maybe 8" off the ground.

They also have lifts with air bags that go from like an 8" lift to a 12" lift which I think are bad ***, I just would need to sell a kidney to afford one of those lifts.

Joe Montrellas 08 superduty had an OUO lift put on it that cost more than my truck did new. I think it was pushing the 50k price range. Google that truck, it's pure bad ***. You could also jump it and not worry about it though. Same with most of OUO's stuff.

I know the thing you don't want to do when doing anything but letting your truck sit in your front yard is put a body lift on it.
