F250 FRONT AXLE TRUCK PULLS

I have a 2006 f250, with 6" rough country drop radus arms lift , i did have the front axle bounce problem, it became so bad that the pitman arm came loose. I redid the pitman arm nut torque put new steering damper and also a double lower damer kit too. The tire size i am running is 315/70/17, bfg all terrain, during the truck pulls i get a bad bounce in the front end and i always end up letting off the throttle three or four times down the track. Does anybody have any fixes or ideas to try? Something i can do before the pulls and take back off like the chevy guys turn down their key bolts..

Take the lift off. It's not a great lift anyways. You'd be better off with a 4 link style lift. I run the same size tires on just a 2.5" leveling kit and F350 blocks in the rear, no rubbing. (on my F250)

try some less bitey tires up front. lifts suck in truck pulling end of storyyou could prolly fab up some suspension stops

Thanks. I had the tires on the truck with stock suspention and it bounced too, I wasn't going to lift it but a friend ordered it in at his shop and it was a deal I couldn't pass up,as I only paid 700 canadian taxes in.
I was kinda wondering if there was some add on kit stuff I could try ( pulling season is over for now but next year thinking of trying to chain axle up hold the suspention firm )

If you hopped with the same tires, then you must have another issue. I would look at the condition of the bushings in the control arms, from there, ball joints and unit (axle) bearings. I pull like a freight train on 6" lift and 315-75-16s when I compete, but I don't use blocks. I didn't have any front hop issues when I was pulling with 365s (34.5x14.5)either.

I found it!!!
I ordered a four link upgrade kit. But have not installed it yet.
One the other hand, The bounce is fixed, I looked it up time after time on the net
and came across recalls on the track bar. I ended up finding the
Ford Death Wobble site , I was going to buy one but at $800 I figured
I could build it cheaper, I ended up building a whole new track bar out of
2" pipe 3/16 thick, and rustys offroad (rustys offroad . Com) 7/8" hem joints, and 7/8 bolts.
For the ball joint end I bought a new ball joint from ford dealer and took it apart.
I used the pressed in part but welded up a new track bar mount on the top side.

Now I have NO bounce! Truck does ride a little stiffer but much safer! Now.

Click "go advanced" select the paper clip, attach from there.

At the risk of sounding dumb, (like this would be the first time), would a loose track bar and/or worn bushing cause the 40-50 mph bounce I get in my 2003 on the way to work? It seems intermitent right now. While it's entertaining when the Cave Wench is in the truck, not so much when its just me.
