Default Air Dog 2?

After having the SCT on extreme street, fuel pressure regulator kit, and the 6.4 banjo bolt mod in I still have low fuel pressure with wot. Was just wondering if the air dog 2 was the right way to go?

Yeah I have the same issue. Where are you measuring fuel pressure from and what are your readings? An AD2 will certainly help!

mdub, where do you recommend measuring fuel pressure from? I have read some posts on vegistroke sites saying that people were having issues holding fuel pressure with the airdog? Is this true? If so, will it also be a issue with diesel and the air dog?

The issue was on the diesel side and I'm looking more into it. It's not the diesel pumps fault and if you're not using a vegistroke then I wouldn't worry too much about. Just with the nature of the system we end up having a larger volume to fill with the diesel pump and we're also reading diesel fuel pressure about 3' behind the back of the heads, so it's way past the injectors.

Most will read fuel pressure at the fuel bowl, if you do make sure it's on the side AFTER the filter. Ideally... pressure should be read behind the heads. You can do this a couple ways. You could run the ITP/strictly diesel regulated return setup, which would also return fuel to the tank from behind the heads as well as read pressure back there, or you could just use the regulation from the AD2, then run a simple x-over line behind the heads and add a fitting for your fuel pressure. That will also equalize pressure in both heads.

I'm getting the reading from the fuel bowl off the service port. My readings just driving with the flow are around 65psi and wot(which i stay away from now since I know the reading) is around 30-35psi.

I have heard of this a couple times, but it doesn't seem to be very common. At least AD seems to stand behind their warranty.
