Rain caps Pros & cons

I don't use them, but I have a black truck too. If you start the truck and let it warm up it will evaporate out of there without spraying, the only time it sprays out is when I take off and get on it and boost it up, then it sprays crud everywhere. You can also drill small holes in the 90* bend so the water will drain out. Most of it drains out the flex pipe connection from what I can gather though. It's just a personal preference. Instead of putting "flappers" on, I've also seen guys just throw coffee cans over the stacks when it rains.

LOL i put 5 gallon buckets on yours and it was a good thing i turned around when i ran into the rain because when i left it poured! It must have had 2-3 inches per hour i did literally 30mph most of the way home i had you on speaker phone and could barely hear you over the pounding rain. those buckets will stay there until i pull it in. i made the mistake not to remove them from a buddys truck once and when i fired it up and gave it a lil go go juice it blasted the buckets like 20 feet in the air.
