Does someone know what the upgraded turbo oil supply tube looks like?
I bought what I though was the updated turbo oil supply tube.
It's a solid tube.
The one I took out has a flex section in it. I bought the truck new in 2006, so I know this has not been replaced (unless the dealer did this without telling me; I did take the truck in a couple of times, but never for anything related to the turbo).
Just wanted make sure I put back the best one. There might be pro's and con's to using each. I would think the flex section might have an advantage in the sense that it would put less pressure on the connection to the turbo....maybe even withstand a little more vibration. But, I really don't know whether the flexible or solid one is the best.
Can someone give me some help? Which one works the best?

As far as I know, there was an upgraded oil DRAIN tube, not a feed tube. The drain is larger. I would definitely use the updated drain tube, if that's what you're referring to. The supply line is the one that bolts in to the top of the turbo.
