Default 06 6.0 fan short run time
I have a 2006 f350 with the 6.0 in it. Fan will only run for 3-4 seconds on take off. It doesn't run much but when it does it's on take offs and for about 3-4 seconds. I was just curious if this is normal?

My fan only kicks on when my coolant is low. Check your coolant level, could be the early warning signs of a failed EGR cooler or even headgaskets. Is there white residue around the coolant bottle?

Yeah there's quite a bit of it. I've been suspecting head gaskets because it burns through coolant.
