fuel mileage question

15 every day all day, extended cab short bed 4x4 auto. I never beleive anyone who says they get 20 with a 6.0. Just me...

Also are you guys topping up to the fuel cap and recording and doing this manually? Going off the lie-o-meter is a joke.

yes sir, manually. I will admit though, if I reset the trip and the lie-o-meter at the same time after I fill the tank, It will actually be pretty close to what I figure by calculator. The sucky part is the display that reads out the number of miles you have left will screw you over. The last 50 miles may only get you 30 miles.
Something else to remember is the tire size. I'm not sure what stock tire size is, But I'm running 33"s.

Just made a round trip to Tahoe and got 21 MPG on extreme race!!!

My buddy had an 05 that would RUN OUT of fuel when the meter said 100 miles left til empty. Sometimes it went as far as 65 miles to empty, but as soon as it got to 100 or so he'd make an emergency stop to pull over and get fuel, that bad.
