EGR Delete what to clean

I am going to do an egr delete and wondering if there is anything I should clean or do since im going to be taking it apart.

Some guys like having the entire intake manifold hot-tanked to get all the gunk out of the inside of it.

Some of them are REAL nasty on the inside.
