hi im lookin at gettin a new truck. im lookin at a 2004 6.0 6 speed has 91,000 miles on it. how good is this year 6.0 iv hered alot of bad things about them. and advice would be helpful thanks

 

I have an 04 with an auto, I love it.

They do have hiccups, there will be things you want to change, and nothing for these is cheap! Educate yourself about the vehicle, know getting into that some mods will be advantageous, and figure out if its an investment you can make. Knowing what I know now, thanks largely to this forum, if I could rewind the clock, I'd still buy it I just would have started tinkering with it sooner! However what's good for the goose ain't always good for the gender...

I have an 04 with the manual love it. Only have about 70,000. Going under the knife soon to remove the EGR system and change the oil cooler. Still a great truck
