I have eaten through 5 alternators in the last year and am now having charging issues. Newest alternator is 4 months old and was upgraded to 140amp. Batteries are 6 months old and are fine. To it to my battery shop the other day and the guy said with no load there is an amperage draw between 70 and 80 amps said it should be between 22 amps typically on no load? Any ideas on what would draw that much.
