Yeah we head up to Brooklyn every year or so for a day and to get new suspenders!!!

Red fuel won't harm the pump, and as of 2008, red fuel is also ULSD. The pump pumps oil, not fuel, so the fuel won't harm is.
The #1 cause of injector failures is low fuel pressure, though - how often do you change your filters? Is the fuel clean?
