Default sct race tune problem?

So about a month ago when i used the extreme race tune i started smelling coolant, switched it back to the extreme street tune and it went away so I figured it was nothing. But today i tried it agian and after about 2 miles I started smelling coolant again. Did what i did last time and put it back to street and it went away. I use extreme street as a daily driver and no problems. Any idea what might be causing this?

Probably coolant boiling over if I had to guess... what else would cause it? I've blown multiple sets of headgaskets running these tunes. I just don't have the self control to not hot rod with them. This is why I DD a street tune now.

Yeah im assuming so. I dont think its a head gasket because it would be constant. And yeah im the same way, i'm always gettin on it. Think changing the coolant bottle top would do anything?

Probably not no. It could just be flash boiling coolant in the cooler and boiling over. Or it could be an early warning sign of things to come. When mine used to puke on hot tunes I could load a stock tune in and it would go away... it was still headgaskets in my case.

I'm on my 3rd set of stockers. Both are good. It's just making sure the heads/block are flat before installing any of them, which Ford does not.

I plan on ordering the victor reinz gaskets, as they're the same as the black onyx, but a LOT cheaper. Like $55 a side I think. I think Lenzhotrod had a link to them maybe!? Someone did in a thread not too long ago...

Oh alright. I got an aftermarket warrenty because i didnt buy it from a ford dealer, so I dont know if they'll even cover stock replacement (they're a pain in the a**). But if not i got a quote for studs they said $5000 so I think im gonna see about doing them myself
