Default Windshield Issue

Last night driving back from the mountains and noticed a crack in my windshield not sure if it was a rock or something else. Anyone have any ideas on how to stop it from spreading? Live in New Mexico, and it goes from cold to hot and hoping to wait until spring or summer to get new window.

How big is it now? If it's smaller than say a quarter, you can fix it, if it's bigger you're SOL, it will just get bigger and bigger, needs replacing now.

I'd say theres no stopping it at this point.... If it was smaller you could have it sealed up but i believe 6" is too long

Get you a razor blade and scribe a mark at the ends of the crack (Perpendicular to the crack)
