Default On going turbo problem

Last week brought my truck to the dealer for sticking vanes in my turbo and they rebuilt my turbo and cleaned it. They put new housing, actuator asy, tube and sensor also told me they replaced center section. And since I've had it back there is a metal chinking coming from it now. Only happens when it from 35 to 50 mph. Any suggestions?

Yeah, bring it back to the dealer and tell them about it! That's on them to fix that now.

Also before spending a whole bunch of money on a another stock turbo, take a look at Garrett's new Powermax turbo. It's a great stock replacement, and will support more HP, if you ever decide to up the power, and can be had for around $1250 shipped, which is significantly cheaper than most other turbos offered for the 6.0. Just food for thought.

Garrett's new Powermax turbo, if I get that would I void any warranty that i have with ford? The hardest thing about bringing it back is by time it get it to the dealership the noise stops and they think I'm an annoying fringing kid..

Dont worry about being annoying. You got a badas* truck with a problem!! I cant believe its still not fixed!! go back there and keep putting your foot down thats the only way things get done around there. Take advantage of the warranty while you can!!! good luck!! quick story my buddy just bought a brand new 350 and keep a thermometer in the a/c vent if it goes under the set temp for any reason he bring it back. now thats a pain in the a**!

It doesn't matter if it's a tech's fault or not, it should all still be covered by Ford, since they're the ones working on it. Either way get it looked at.

Powermax would void warranty of course. Depending on how cool the people are that are working on it.

Do you have some sort of extended warranty on it? Like the 7yr/200k warranty? How else are you getting an 05 warrantied?
