Default ICP part #?

I believe my icp sensor is going bad,I have called the ford dealership and checked on ebay. Ebay has the best prices but they offer two for the 04. One is for 03-04 the other 04-07. Which one do I need for my 04 F-250 6.0, the inside of the drivers side door tells me it was built Oct. 2003. Can anyone shine some light on this for me?

That is a late built 04 I think you will probly need the 04-07 see if code will give you the part number off your vin. The early 04 aculy had 03 motors and turbid.

Thats one of my problems, It has not thrown any codes. I will be driving along and suddenly I will have no throttle response shortly after by stalling. Sometimes it will start right up , other times it may take awhile. This last time it had this spell it almost would not start back at all. I have had the ficm replaced and no egr and a block off plate add recently. This problem has been on going for around 4 to 6 months off and on. There is never a code or check engine light. So my best guess is icp sensor.

You can just try ordering it at your local dealer or see if they can give you the correct part number. They should ask you for your VIN to order it, so they know exactly which one to get.

If your ICP is behind the turbo you need the earlier one. If your ICP is on the valve cover you need the later version.

You will need the one for 04-07. My truck was built around that time to and my ICP is on the Valve cover on the passengerside. It may also be the BPsensor. Try cleaning it with a q-tip and clean out the tube. Hope this helps.
