What? what do you want to know? We all like Diesels. Some like Cummins, Powerstroke, or Duramaxes. then there are the occasional unique power-plants. Me? I like them all. there are a few that don't get my vote of confidence. It is not because of design It is just because it was a problem child when it left the manufacturer. Take the VT906 low powered for what they are displaced at. I am a firm believer of going forward in technology So most of the new engine designs interest me. It will take time for them to get more simple with their complexed electrical and computing systems. it is the unfortunate process of building it beating the heck out of it and hoping that they expose all of the weaknesses before it is released. Most of the time they are unable to find them and the consumer is the one driving something that was not fully capable of their claim. The way the laws are set up, Customer service is no longer what it used to be. You can thank Accountants, Lawyers and insurance facilities for that

Early 1999 F-250 XLT rear wheel drive 3:73 rear gearing with limited slip, ZF-6 M/T with a Navistar T444E (7.3l Powerstroke) It is not built for speed just to tow a horse trailer and run around town. Gets abut 16 mpg city right now and going to find the highway milage soon.
