Mail white coal

I have a stock Cummins 5 speed stick and when I mash the pedal it blows white smoke(known to my buds as white coal) how do I get it black and why is it white???

PS I'm not some *** that wants to rolls coal all around town. just something to keep cars off my *** when I am speeding to begin with.

white smoke is usually the fuel not being burnt properly or air in the line, mabye your case your injectors could use some work. Hopefully someone else should chime in.

Is it winter where you live? That would be a sure answer, and air in lines would be the next answer.

Default white/grey is smoke

My cousin just got a 96 Cummins and it pours whit/grey is smoke from everywhere, tail pipe, dip stick tube, oil filer tube. After it warms up it still does it just not as bad. Previous owner changed the injectors to lower grade ones. Any ideas other than head gasket?
