You are COMPLETELY full of s**t. Red diesel does NOTHING for you except save at the pump, it is IDENTICAL to #2 diesel without road tax, that's why it has red die. Running 5" into 4" gives you worse economy than 5" all the way out because it chokes the flow and your engine can't breathe and a straight pipe is a straight pipe so nothing about a different size pipe is gonna give you longer engine life. If you wanted longer engine life why the F**K did you put propane on.

Instead of feeding the troll lets help the OP out.

For fuel system I'd do airdog2, the larger banjo bolts for the heads (either 6.4 bolts or the ebay bolts) and a fuel pressure gauge. Should be all you'll need.

FASS isn't superior to airdog in anyways. In fact I'd choose the AD2 over anything else simply for the adjustable regulator. It's more or less aimed at the Ford crowd for this reason. We need 55psi, everyone else pretty much only needs 10-15psi to feed their injection pumps.

Will the banjo bolt upgrade hurt the fuel system w/o the airdog2?

Absolutely not, you can run them on a bone stock truck if you want. I ran them on mine with stock fuel system and just a programmer.

Hello Everyone, Ive been reading on this site for a while now and just recently joined and I want to say thanks for all the info shared on here. My question is does the air dog 2 eliminate the need for a regulated return fuel system upgrade ?

If you ask ITP about it, they'll tell you that you still need their $700 RR system because it's closer to the heads or something, forget what their reasoning is.

I'd just use the AD2 and the banjo bolts. The AD2 is regulated so you will not need a separate regulator. Some people still think it's a good idea to do a x-over line between the back of the heads, to simply equalize pressure, but I don't think it's necessary anyawys. The dead-head system on these still runs PAST the last injector, so as long as you keep an eye on fuel pressure and it's maintained at or very close to 55-60psi, there is no need.
