Default I have no clue whats wrong

I have a 03 6.0 powerstroke and I have a stack with sct canned tunes. When I put the canned performance or street tune on my exhaust starts to break up around 3000 rpms. I have no clue what would be causing this but any ideas would be very apreciated.

Thanks in advance

What do you mean "break up?" I have straight pipe into a stack and around 3,000 is where my truck loses the turbo sounds and starts SCREAMING ... Its how 6.0's sound on straight pipe... If its that sound your describing than no worries... if its something else try and describe what you mean by "break up" a little better so we can try and help!

Might have low fuel pressure, mine was just doing this. Needs a new fuel pump an 4 new injectors on mine. Might be worth testing that...

I know what a 6.0 sounds like and I love the sound of it. But at about 3000 rpms it seems like it doesn't have the fuel to go up there like mdub707 mentioned. How would I test it

Get a fuel pressure gauge and the correct size fittings to hook it up to your fuel filter housing. If you look at the housing, you'll see a couple empty ports that just have "caps" in them. Take one out and hook the gauge up there. Should hold 55psi all the way through. (50-60 is ok). 45 and lower is BAD.
