what should i do??
i just picked up a 2003 f350 with the 6.0
i was told it had a injector leaking issue and locked up...it has been tore down ..in the process the heads and turbo were stolen from the shop it was at...
do i find heads and rebuild this motor or just spend the money on a used low mileage one or what?
and what upgrades need to be done to stop the 6.0 from messing up again?

The problem with used motors is that you don't know what your getting. The biggest question I always have is did the engine come out of a role over and if so did the engine run upside down.
Upgrades. EGR cooler delete. Decked and check cylinder heads with updated headgaskets and ARP head studs. If you have to buy a turbo do a hybrid and updated oil feed and return lines. I can go on with other updates but thats a start.
