Most jacked up 4x4's with large tires I've seen can't go the places that most desert trucks do in 2wd. Wonder why that is? If you're main intent is to drive through 36" of mud, obviously a jacked up 4x4 is gonna be king, but realistically 90% of most guys time is spent on the pavement.

Not to mention these heavy trucks kind of suck offroad anyways. I know my near 8000lb superduty sinks like a rock off the pavement.

Lifted or lowered, as long it's a clean and well thought out build, I like it!

You could always go with a body lift kit

rancho may make a 4" for a 2wd that could work. ive got a rancho on my 4x4 and it cleared 35s easy and i could probly put a 36 under it. when it comes down to it if it where my truck i would leave it at stock so that u get the better mpgs when ur towing your bogger. just me. if u wanna lift it and all then go for it. i love the look of a lifted truck but as a daily driver and a 2wd i would leave it alone or level it. again thats just me.

but nothin looks better than a slightly lifted truck (4 to 6" with 35s to 37s) pullin a jacked up bogger
