Question 6.0 heat problem

Is it better to replace existing eng fan with electric fan (know it gives more hp but I've already accomplished that with an Edge programer) or add a fan along with existing eng fan? Where can I find one for 6.0

What's wrong with the fan you have on? They barely even come on now. The cooling system on these trucks is pretty darn good (if you can keep coolant in them). If you're still looking for power, ditch the Edge and get an SCT. I'd recommend doing that even if you're not looking for more power. JMO.

I understand what your saying about the fan but unlike the guy running 204 I'am running 232 after I top a hill or slow down thru a town and my rpms are running low my temp goes up

Can youhear your fan engaging? What are your oil temps? Have you ever cleaned all the debris out of your radiator?

What are your oil temps? I agree sounds like you need an oil cooler rebuild.
