Default throttle

so i was driving to work monday, slowed down to make a turn onto another road, got back on the throttle and had nothing more than idle i pulled over made sure that the petal was plugged in and tight, which it was. i shut truck off and restarted and worked fine all week till today today i was driving home from work and the petal quit twice on me and would give me nothing more than idle. shut truck off and waited a few minutes and fired it back up. worked fine after restart. anyone have any ideas? truck has 210500 miles on it and it's an 04 6.0L

Try removing your Banks and see if it still does it. You pedal assembly may be bad but removing the Banks doesn't cost anything.
