anybody know a round about estimate of how much it would cost to get head studs put on my 05? i figure its gonna be a lot considering the amount of work it takes

I've seen anywhere from $2k-$4k. Depends where it's taken and what all is done. That is mostly labor. Don't forget the heads need to be machined flat.

ive got guys that will do it for 1000+parts (a buddy that works at a shop that would take it up as a side job) and then ive got a diesel mechanic that wants 4600+cost to machine the heads so closer to 5k...so prices vary A LOT

well worth the cost though if you plan on keeping the pickup for a long period of time
