Who has sticking injectors/cold starting issues?
#71
I got my rev x friday changed the oil addded the rev x and drove it around for a little bit. Saturday morning went out to my truck and the starting temp was around 50* turned the key let the plugs warm up cranked it over for 1-2 seconds(usually 4-6) and it fired right up and purred like a kitten when before it idled like a jack hammer for the first couple minutes. i'm also noticing my turbo seems to be whistling louder and i do believe it's spooling up quite a bit faster. Now instead of having to let my truck warm up to near operating temps before i can drive it, i can let it warm up for 3 or 4 minutes and drive away like it's nothing. smooth as butter! I've noticed smoother idle and it's alot smoother while driving! GREAT PRODUCT GUYS!!! THANK YOU!!!!

I get the studder and shaking when my motor is "cold" no matter of ambient air temperature, so I will know if the rev-x works or not for sure. I cant wait. I'm making a trip tonight about an hour away, so I should be at my mileage for my oil change tomorrow. Can't wait to try it out.
Hey, Mdub, did you get a chance to put the Rev-X in and try it out yet??

"Smooth as Butter!"---that's a really great description. It's amazing such a simple thing can make such a huge difference!
I am really excited to hear all the great changes and improvements you guys have been seeing over the weekend! We get a lot of calls related to cold starts & sticking injectors with the 6.0L. It is really great to hear your feedback on something that can really make a difference for this and other stuff, too!! Woo-hoo!!!

I now have just over 1500 miles on my truck since installing the rev-x and the turbo just sits there and spools at an idle. It sounds awesome! Allright, the product cost $75.99 shipped to my door. I saved $2862.00 on replacing the injectors, the guys at rev-x say i can run my oil change interval to 10,000 miles easy using the Motorcraft oil saving me the total cost of one extra oil change $75.00. I already saved $2861.01 and I haven't even factored in my increased mileage yet. That's what I call bang for the buck. I think I am going to have to put these guys on my Christmas list for a special something!

Calm down smokintires.....If everyone starts buying this stuff then they might go up on the price.
I just had bought 8 gallons of Vavoline Extreme Blue Synthetic before I got to test the Rev-X. I too now have been wondering about using a non-synthetic oil with the one bottle of Rev-X. That would balance the cost out, but with the Rev-X it would not have any oil related problems.

The 6.0 is not a good motor to go a lot of miles between oil changes. I tried it when I first got my truck using Amsoil synthetic, which was supposedly good for 25k miles or 1 year. I was quickly told NOT to do this by numerous techs on the other boards as the 6.0 is a very high shearing motor. I was told to change at 5k miles no matter what oil I use, so I will stick with either motorcraft or rotella and change at 5k.
Smokin tires, I think they recommended two bottles for the first time only, then just using one bottle for the rest of the oil changes, but maybe sunsetsky can verify...
Gonna change oil tomorrow! I'm excited to have my truck run normal again guys, cant wait!
