Its still stalling out..it does this one time every morning it seems to run for 5 mins and then just no throttle response engine idles for a min. then dies, hard to start at first 5 mins. later starts runs fine rest of the day What is going on.. Could it be the fuel pump regulator, or maybe the fuel pump??

I would check fuel pressure at the test port located below and left of the regulator on the secondary fuel filter bowl. You should a have a minimum of 45 PSI (if not) replace the pump.

If pump is ok:
Check for air inlet or exhaust restrictions. To eliminate these possibilities remove the charge-aircooler pipe/hose from the intake manifold inlet and the exhaust down pipe from the turbine side of the turbo. Do these one at a time to narrow down the cause of airflow restriction. Do you still have a cat on this truck?

For HOT only no starts: Injection Pressure Regulator (IPR)
A high-pressure oil leak should be indicated by a rising IPR duty cycle. As Engine Oil Temp increases and the leak rate increases, ICP pressure can begin to drop as the IPR is no longer capable of keep up to demand.
This may be a cracked/broken check valve and fitting in high-pressure oil rail, under either valve cover(s).
It also may be a bad O-ring in between discharge tube and high-pressure pump.

I called ford and they told me it would cost $45.00 for about half an hour test..Should I do this or are they charging me way to much just to test it??

---AutoMerged DoublePost---

Sorry, its to test the fuel pressure to see if it is 45 psi

If you don't have a fuel pressure test gauge, you are stuck going to a local dealer or garage for testing. ($45 is a bit much for a 10 minute job)
