Troubles...
I hope so, Keeping my fingers crossed. I couldnt find a new oem battery clamp so I cleaned the old up and patched the hole in the battery. Hope it last till I can replace it.
I got a new battery because the old one had a green light on it and before I could get to auto zone the light went out.. Your right about the ficm I replaced it about 4 months ago at $900.00. I dont want to go through that again.
Swamps is big with the 7.3 stuff. It's a diesel performance shop.
I would just buy a good used FICM next time on the forum, or try the repair procedure yourself.
New from Ford they are indeed expensive. Swamps isn't going to sell you a new one...
I'd get Innovative tuning if it was me, Power Hungry Performance does them also.

well the problem showed back up today. started driving my truck when i put i in neutral it sat idling fine for a couple of mins. then it died. It started right back up but did not have any throttle response, I shut it off for a couple of mins. and fired it back up and then I had trottle response for a min. or so, then it would idle up a little faster and then idle down till it almost died again..Please help..
not sure but i had mine quit in the middle of the road like that when my hpop when out. and the other time my hpop went out it would start cold but not hot. then the other one it had 0 power above idle (ya ive had alot of hpops)




I didnt know anything about that place... I thought it had to come from ford to get the flash.
