Default Egr delete kit and warranty help

I have a 04 6.0 and i still have warranty left on it but i was lookin at puttin a egr delete pipe kit on. I was wonderin if anyone has put one on and had problems with gettin warranty work done because of it?
Any help would be great.

Do it when your warranty is up. Or if you can find a mod friendly dealer then you might be alright.

Talk to your dealer first and find out how the feel towards mods, if the aren't mod friendly then wait til the warranty is up like Dieselhead said

100% true...and idk where ur gettin ur service work done but if ur goin to dealerships dont just call the one closest to ur house to see what they say. in my case i havent done the egr delete yet but the 2 or 3 dealerships closest to my house tried to tell my my exhaust and intake would void all warranties so now i go to a dealership thats a little farther away but they say they dont care and if they find that it caused the problem they will release the truck to me so that i can put the factory parts back on

That's good advice too! The dealer where in my town sucks when it comes to mods, but where I've been going is about 34 miles away from me, but considering I just got a new set of injectors put on, without having to pull my Edge off, or the CAI, well worth the drive

Have you looked into a upgraded EGR cooler? Then you don't have to worry about voiding the warranty and it will still be reliable
