i would go with the 7.3 myself. i like my 6.0 in all but if i could do it over agian i would get a 2003 with a 7.3. they are damn never indestructable. we have 7.3s, 6.0s, and6.4s at work and the 7.3s are seen in the shop the least for motor problems other than fuel filters. on the down side it will take a considerable amount of cash to make more hps.

I wouldn't buy an Edge for any Ford. You'll want some Tony Wildman tunes or DP. SCT is good for the 6.0 and the TS chips are good for the 7.3's

I just told you. I wouldn't waste my time with anything else. Custom tunes are always the way to go.

1. Speed is like hamburger, how much an you afford?
2. I have done plenty of work to my 6-oh, enough to run mid/high 14s on 365/65 16 Toyos, haven't had to pull the cab and did ALL of the work in my driveway. The only specialty tool required was a welder for the exhaust. Simple bolt ons and a good programmer will make a WORLD of difference.
