Default wont start when hot

ok...so im not the most diesel savy person out there but ive got an 06 250 with a 6.0 and it will start fine when cold(the typical cold start) but after running it for a little bit (to the gas station for coffee) it wont start back up...but if i let it sit and cool down for a bit then it will start ok...i had advanced auto parts check the alternator and its good...the batteries are no more than a few days old...

i think it might by a high pressure oil pump problem or something that is not working at temp

thats what i thought to but i figured id post up here to see if anyone had any other ideas since i just put a new HPOP in a couple weeks before xmas...

i ran it to the dealership this mornin and thats what they think it is to so my next question is where do i look or who do i talk to about getting an aftermarket HPOP...this is the 3rd one if had and im only at 95K miles so i want to be able to eliminate this problem...

Hmmmm... dieselsite.com has upgraded HPOP i believe. you might wanna have the tech check out your whole high pressure oil system... i've heard of the standpipes having a problem with them too and causing these same symtoms... or it could be a problem in your High pressure oil rail too... just have the tech check out the whole system! hope this helps!

There is a service bulletin for the STC (snap to connect) fitting. That is most likely the issue, it is very common.
