Default turbo problem

Since the other day, it sounds like my stock vgt turns off when I am crusing at a steady speed or when it is just idiling. Now when I say it sounds like it turns off, it like I turn on a smoke switch. "I had one 6 months ago". Do you think my vanes are stuck or a chaffed wire? Are there any known issues that y'all know of?

I have heard that those smoke switches make your veins stick. They say not to put them on for that reason.

Clean your e.g.r. valve and your exaust back pressure snsr. / tube. Both of those can create puffing black smoke

How do you go about cleaning an EGR Valve? Do you run some kind of cleaner through it or do take it apart somehow?

Take out the 2 bolts that hold it on, remove the 2 orings and let it soak in break cleaner. If needed use a wire to brush off stubborn buildup
